How Do I Start My Cat on Rose-Hip Vital?

Starting your cat on Rose-Hip Vital is easy!

For cats under 7.5kg, we recommend our Rose-Hip Vital^® with GOPO^® Canine 150g tub.

All you’ll need to do is sprinkle a tiny amount of powder onto their wet food, then gradually increase this daily until you reach the recommended loading dose. It’s important to always mix with cool or room temperature food, as heat will diminish the potency of your powder. We find wet food, raw mince or canned tuna are great options.

While Rose-Hip Vital is suitable for sensitive stomachs, we believe a staggered approach helps to make your introduction even more successful.

How Much Should My Cat Take?

Rose-Hip Vital dosage is calculated according to weight. For cats we typically work from our canine dosage recommendations, which you can find here.

Our general guidelines are:

Cats under 3.5kg -
Loading dose (first 3 weeks): 1/2 scoop daily
Maintenance dose (after 3 weeks): 1/4 scoop daily

Cats 3.5kg to 7.5kg -
Loading dose (first 3 weeks): 1 scoop daily
